Pokemon: Hypno Mercy

Pokemon: Hypno Mercy is the first Pokemon game developed by Gamevil and the second of the X & Y series, bringing the classic handheld Pokemon gaming into the high-tech world of smartphones. In Pokemon: Hypno Mercy you are Kim's (Kenny) best friend. The story revolves around him meeting an unknown boy who can transform Pokemon into any animal he wants them to be. Players are Kim's only hope as he must battle a team of rivals, rescue his captured Pokemon, and find out if the boy can really transform his Pokemon.

The premise behind the game is quite simple, except for one major detail: every you buy from Gamevil will transform into a Tentacruel. While this might not sound all that important to you (the idea of having two Pokemon in one game is pretty messed up), players will notice the effects almost immediately. Pokemon: Hypno Mercy has a ton of different Pokemon in it, such as the infamous Tentacruel, but it also has two fat Pokemon. The first of which is the infamous Machoke. The Machoke is basically a very powerful Fighting type and is one of the hardest to fight off, making it one of the more frustrating Pokemon to level up.

The story in Pokemon: Hypno Mercy isn't all that great. There isn't much detail in terms of what happened between you and the boy in question. What is told is that he and his brother have been experimenting on animals, namely Geckos, and they accidentally capture a female Gecko who, because she is so weak, can't even fight. From this experience, the brothers learned that it is important to be strong to be able to control others and that Pokemon should never be used to battle. The story is brief, but it does help to build up the lore behind the game.
